Welcome to Barton Bowls & Social Club, this is a members club, where accompanied children are welcome. The Club serves some of the cheapest drinks in the village with a wide range of beers and lagers including the well known Marston’s Pedigree. The main building has its own car park with the main entrance to the Club house on the left of the building via steps, to the right of the building is a ramped path to the rear of the building allowing access for the more physically challenged.

The main Bar is a large room with seating alcoves down one side; the central area is furnished with tables and chairs which can be moved to accommodate dancing and entertainment. The Bar area is the main arena for the indoor sports with a pool table, darts board and ample room for playing dominoes and cards. One alcove in the Bar is a designated area set aside for children activities such as reading and board games and craft. |

The Bar gives access to two Crown Bowling Greens, which are amongst the best in the area. The Bowling Greens are well used with Bowlers of both sexes enjoying the facilities with ages ranging from 9 to 90. The Club has thirteen teams playing in local leagues on various days or evenings. The greens are also used to stage National and County Bowls matches as well as numerouscompetitions, both Burton League and local Club competitions. There is a small children’s’ play area adjacent to the Club. |

The Bowls Club is very interested in recruiting young new bowlers to ensure that the art of crown green bowling continues. Existing bowlers are happy to coach novice bowlers. Have you bowled before and want to return to this friendly and excellent sport? Never bowled before but you would like to have a go? Membership is open to individuals or families at a modest annual subscription. Interested in joining the Club for the social side and or the bowling
