A mixed age congregation gathers for worship on
Sunday mornings at the Methodist Church in Crowberry Lane.
There is a weekly Bible Study Group. On the first Saturday of
the month we hold a Coffee Morning at which there are stalls for
'TraidCraft' (fair trade food and gifts - see
www.traidcraft.co.uk
) and 'Tools for Self Reliance' (refurbished garden & DIY tools
- money raised is used to out together basic tool kits to send
out to Africa - see www.tfsr.org
).
Ecumenically - as 'Barton Churches Together' we run 'The Light
Factory' - a children's club - for one week every summer and an
evening meeting once per month.
Our Sunday Service is at 10:30 a.m. During most morning
services, there will be a crèche for under-3's & Sunday School
for older children.
During Family Services & school summer break (late July &
August) there is no crèche or Sunday School.
There is usually spoken mid-week Communion service on the first
Wednesday of each month, starting at 7.00pm.
